The successful Teaching Assistants may be involved in the following duties, among others to be determined by the supervisor:

  • assisting in marking assignments and exams
  • assisting with invigilating duties
  • delivering tutorials
  • assisting students academically during office hours

The average hours will be 12 hours per week according to the position.

Wages for TA’s:   MA students $37.87/hour (GTA 2), PhD students $39.30/hour (GTA 1), UTA $21.61, Marker $19.07
